Phase 2 Reopening Las Vegas Gyms

May 27, 2020 | Newsroom | 0 comments

Update On What’s To Come

As we re-imagine the gym in conjunction with the health guidelines currently being established at the Federal, State and Local levels, we wanted to let you know that our sole focus is to make sure that our members and staff are able to enjoy the benefits of working out in a responsible and safe manner. We aim to be a part of the solution, not a place to be afraid of, and this will continue to be our mission as we navigate the months ahead.

We will meet and exceed all expectations set forward by the health department. Additionally, we will have clear signage highlighting the do’s and don’ts to ensure everyone is in compliance with our safety protocols.

Our energy and focus on health and safety will serve us well as we seek to provide you with the most positive workout experience possible.

Lastly, we’ve taken the time during this pandemic to make some great improvements in anticipation of your return. We are excited for you all to see what we have been up to during the downtime.

Safety Regulations To Expect

No-Contact Thermal Scanning

Your temperature will be taken upon entry with a forehead thermometer. You will be asked to stay home if you are showing signs of illness.

Capacity Limitations

Class and personal training capacity will be enforced.

Reservations Are Now Required

All classes and personal training sessions will require a reservation. Cancellation fees will be enforced as our spaces are limited due to capacity limitations.

Social Distancing

Social distancing will be required at all times.

Air Flow

Windows and doors will remain open whenever possible to maximize air flow.

Sanitizing Protocols

We have enhanced our cleaning procedures and  sanitization stations to keep up with strict cleaning protocols.

Wiping Down Equipment

We will be following strict cleaning protocols and ask that you wipe down equipment after each use. Sanitation stations will be setup throughout the gym. We will also supply gloves upon your request but encourage everyone to bring their own.

Hand Washing

Practice good hand hygiene by washing your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer as often as possible.

Reopening Plans

Per our Governor, Steve Sisolak, phase 2 reopening plan will begin on Friday, May 29, 2020. Omalza Fitness will reopen on Monday, June 1. We will be releasing additional information regarding our new and improved procedures before we reopen. Be sure to follow us on social media and on our website for the latest updates. We have missed you all and look forward to being together again, even if it’s 6 feet apart.
